A Message from Our Founder
How a business trip to Japan changed everything.
“Probioform originated from an unexpected encounter during a business trip to Japan. At the time, I was developing engines for Volvo and Saab in the automotive industry, while grappling with chronic gut issues that had plagued me since childhood, triggered by antibiotics.
During my visit, I met representatives from a company specialising in probiotic research and development, including soil-based organisms and live lactic acid bacteria. They generously provided me with samples to take back to Sweden.
I didn't give it much thought until a month later, when I began using the liquid formula. Remarkably, I noticed improved bowel movements within just a few days, and over the next few months, my persistent constipation and gut discomfort vanished entirely.
Having tried virtually every probiotic pill available in Swedish health food stores without success, I realised: "People need this liquid." Inspired by my experience, I partnered with that serendipitous company, and Probioform was launched in Sweden in 2011.
